We’re now accepting applications for our Feminism in Action Contest, which seeks to inspire young feminists to use up to $3,000 in grant funds to improve the lives of women and girls by creating an education-based project in Massachusetts.
The winner will receive Mass NOW support to implement the project, including:
- Dedicated funds, up to $3,000
- Professional mentorship
- Volunteer support
- Publicity throughout Mass NOW’s networks
- The winner will receive an award at Mass NOW’s 2017 Feminist Affair.
- The winner will join the alumni of Feminism in Action Contest winners, and will be invited to work with Mass NOW’s board members following the project’s completion on a variety of issues (including joining event committees, testifying before the Massachusetts legislature, and judging next year’s Feminism in Action Contest – just to name a few!)
Applications for the Feminism in Action Grant will be accepted on a rolling basis. Send applications via email to our VP of Community Engagement, Rebecca Santos Seetahal, at rebecca@massnow.org no later than August 31, 2017, with “FEMINISM IN ACTION APPLICATION” in the subject.
