Chapter Meeting: Write an OpEd!

May 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

RSVP!

Mass NOW members, join our monthly chapter meetings to hear updates on our legislative agenda and participate in consciousness raisings with our diverse, multi-generational feminist community. Over dessert and wine, we strengthen our personal narratives and educate our communities about our priority issue areas. No expertise necessary!

This month we won’t be talking about a specific bill, but we’ll be talking about OpEds! Mass NOW is a multi issue, multi strategy organization fighting for a feminist democracy. We know we can’t do this alone by passing policies  – we need to promote feminism in culture and public awareness. Join our first-ever OpEd Teach In to hear from Mass NOW Board members Alessandra Pollina and Kat Cline about how to write and submit an OpEd.

Alessandra Pollina is the founder and owner of Quotable Media Co. which she launched in 2012 at 23 years old. Quotable Media Co. is a PR and media agency which works to elevate women-led brands and produces Quotable: A Female Millennial Entrepreneur Podcast and Quotable Magazine. She is also the founder of the Female Entrepreneurs of Boston networking group which aims to bring like minded entrepreneurs and business owners together. She lives in Dorchester with her husband and 6-year-old son.

Kat Cline is the Associate Director of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC). Prior to joining the MWPC, she served as the Congressional campaign manager to Ihssane Leckey in the competitive 2020 CD-4 race. During Shannon Liss-Riordan’s Senate campaign, she was Political and Operations Director. In Cline’s first race, she managed State Senator Becca Rausch’s winning campaign against a four-term incumbent. A graduate of Simmons University, Cline has also been a Barbara Lee Family Foundation Fellow.
