Racial Justice Dialogue
March 7 @ 6:00 pm - April 4 @ 8:00 pm
Mass NOW is happy to announce that we have new dates for the Racial Justice Dialogue series that we’ve initiated in partnership with YW Boston. This series is guided by a facilitator who will take us through a curriculum on racial justice, helping us to see how our organization might better deploy racial justice strategies in our internal and outward-facing work.
The series is designed to be a space for our members of color to have a voice in organization’s conversations about race, and for that reason, we’ve committed to having at least ½ participants of color for each of the 5 dialogue sessions. If you identify as a person of color, know that this space will intentionally center your valuable perspectives. We want as many participants to be able to join us as we can have! The registration is capped and limited spots are available with the possibility of a waitlist.
The racial justice dialogues will take place March 7 – April 4, meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays weekly. To RSVP, please fill out this form. By signing up, you are committing to attend each dialogue session. Information on location will be sent out to those who sign up.
In order to make these conversations as powerful and meaningful as they can be, we are excited to equitably include as many voices as possible within our membership.
Please feel free to be in touch with any questions or concerns—looking forward to seeing you at the dialogue series!
