Advocacy Day Speakers


  • An Advocacy Day is a day-long event where you can hear from legislative champions, activists and meet with your legislators to urge them to pass our menstrual equity agenda this session!

    Mass NOW schedules meetings for everyone to meet with their legislators with a small group of other constituents. RSVP by Feb. 9th to have a meeting with your legislator scheduled.

  • Meeting and sharing stories with legislators is the most effective way to urge them to take action!

    The Advocacy Day provides an opportunity for constituents to meet with their State Representatives and urge them to bring the menstrual equity bills to a vote in House Ways and Means before the end of the legislative session!

  • Advocacy Day Schedule:

    10AM-11AM - Check in, networking, breakfast

    11AM-12PM - Speeches from activists and legislators

    12PM-1PM - Lunch

    1PM-2PM - Meeting #1 with legislators

    2PM-3PM - Meeting #2 with legislators

  • No! anyone can attend and volunteer to be a team leader, regardless of previous experience.

  • The team leaders will co-lead a lobby day training for a small group, find the legislators offices in the State House, facilitate conversation with legislators and attendees, and be responsible for submitting feedback form.

    No experience needed! We will have a team lead training about a week before the Advocacy Day. Sign up on the RSVP form on our website.
