  • Natalie Huoth

    POLICY & ACTION INTERN

    Natalie Huoth (she/her) is a senior at Suffolk University from Tyngsboro, MA, studying Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy and Law. Natalie’s journey with menstrual equity began when she co-founded a club to install free period product dispensers in her high school’s athletic locker rooms and bathrooms. She is excited to join the MASS NOW team and help advance menstrual equity across the Commonwealth. 

    Natalie is the Vice President of Suffolk University’s Asian American Association, which aims to foster an inclusive space for students while uplifting AAPI culture on campus. She is also the graphics coordinator for the East Coast Asian American Student Union (ECAASU), a non-profit committed to empowering and educating those interested in Asian/Asian American issues. Outside the office, Natalie is often watching Formula 1 races, catching a Red Sox game, or looking for a sweet treat.

  • Grace Starr

    POLICY & ACTION INTERN

    Grace Starr (they/them) is a junior at Tufts University studying Political Science and English. They believe strongly in helping advance gender equity, LGBTQ+ rights, voting access, and social justice through policy and advocacy. On campus, they are active in student organizations including Pep Band and JumboXR, where they have held leadership roles in communications and outreach. They are excited to grow their professional skills with Mass NOW and help create meaningful systemic change. 

  • Danielle Stone

    COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

    Danielle (she/her) is currently a graduate student at Emerson College studying Political Communications. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. Danielle has experience working on climate advocacy in the nonprofit sector and she is eager to continue her journey in issue-based politics especially in the realm of gender equality! 

  • Gabriele McWhorter

    COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

    Gabriele McWhorter (She/Her) is a senior at Boston College from St. Louis, MO, studying Political Science and Film Production. She believes in the importance of the MassNOW agenda and understands the unique opportunity new-age social media platforms present in spreading awareness for the increasingly important issues facing female-identifying and minority communities in the United States today. Gabby is excited to grow her professional and personal goals with an organization focused on promoting an intersectional feminist agenda while fighting for the rights of every woman in Massachusetts. In her own time, Gabby enjoys baking, reading, and producing short films, and she is a second-year mentor to freshmen multicultural students at Boston College.

  • Matisse Laufgraben

    MENSTRUAL EQUITY COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

    Matisse Laufgraben (she/her) is a second-semester graduate student in
    Emerson College’s Political Communication MA program. She earned her
    undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington, where she
    studied Social and Historical Studies with minors in Sociology and
    Human Sexuality. Matisse is passionate about women’s empowerment,
    reproductive justice, and using strategic communication to support
    grassroots organizing. Her previous experience includes sexual
    violence prevention work, mental health advocacy, and community-based
    education initiatives. She has held leadership roles in student
    organizations, including Culture of Care, and has worked on
    public-facing projects focused on storytelling and civic engagement.
    At Mass NOW, Matisse is excited to support communications efforts that
    amplify feminist voices across Massachusetts and make advocacy more
    accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
