Roasting the Patriarchy is a brief speaking program highlighting local leaders, performers, and legislators. It’s our way of finding catharsis and camaraderie with the experience of fighting for gender equity.

As one of New England's longest performing drag kings, he has always proudly used his platform to fight for trans equality, and personally raised over $2000 for QTBIPOC transgender charities in the last three years alone. Bringing you camp, concept, and chaos… it’s Lowell's own Travis Tí!

Masada Jones

Masada Jones (she/her) is an artist, community builder, and youth worker rooted in Lowell, Massachusetts. She serves as Executive Director of The Center for Hope and Healing, Inc., where her work is grounded in justice, healing, and community. A Lowell native deeply committed to investing in her people and community, Masada’s leadership spans youth violence prevention, education, and community-centered programming. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of The Kindred Project; an organization she created to build visible and intentional community with the Black community in Lowell.

Knowing the power of telling one’s own story and the importance of being heard and seen, Masada also co-founded FreeVerse!, a group dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through poetry and performance. She is a graduate of Lesley University and a published author whose debut poetry collection, Becoming Broken, was released in 2016.

Tax Information: Mass NOW estimates that the fair value market cost of entertainment and food for the Feminist Affair to be $20. This means that any ticket cost higher than the $20 base value is seen as a charitable donation to the Mass NOW Foundation, Inc. (a 50(c)(3) non-profit organization), and is tax deductible. The non-member ticket and non-member 2-pack ticket additionally includes a $15 per-person membership to the Mass NOW, Inc., a 501(c)(4) organization, which is not tax deductible.
