Mass NOW is run on the efforts of volunteers.

Mass NOW is growing and recruiting board members!

The Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women (Mass NOW) is a multi-issue, multi-strategy feminist organization working to advance intersectional justice for those who identify as women and girls in the Commonwealth.

We’re looking for feminists of all ages who are eager to share their skill set with a grassroots organization that depends on its board for volunteer hours, strategy, and expertise. We’re recruiting board members with skills ranging from fundraising, to community organizing, to legislative advocacy, and campaign work.  The time commitment is 10 hours per month, including one two-hour, monthly board meeting held in Downtown Boston on Sunday mornings — donuts are usually provided and enjoyed. All meetings are child friendly.

We’re casting a wide net in hopes of culling a broad pool of potential board members with varied expertise.  We are seeking people with a diversity of professional, personal, and lived experiences including but not limited to race, ethnicity, class, geography, ability, sexual orientation and gender identity. Don’t hesitate to apply!

Do you have a skill set you think would be valuable to Mass NOW? You’re probably right! To apply send your resume with a cover letter explaining your interest in Mass NOW to sasha@massnow.org and how you hope to leverage your skill set to advance the organization. We look forward to hearing from you!
