2023 Feminist Affair

The 13th Annual Feminist Affair was a success!

We had so much fun filling Hibernian Hall with our intersectional and intergenerational feminist community to celebrate our herstoric year! From going to the Capitol to join Congresswoman Pressley at a press conference about the ERA, to hosting the Menstrual Equity Summit, Youth for Sex Ed Summit, and 25th Anniversary of the Boston Area International Women’s Day Breakfast, to finishing our second year piloting a Menstrual Equity Program in Fall River and New Bedford - we’ve been busy!

Our elected feminist champions, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and Governor Maura Healey joined us in honoring our Feminist in Action Awardee, Kate Sanetra-Butler, Founder and Executive Director of Dignity Matters. Drag performers Violencia Exclamation Point and Blacc Brandi brought down the house and DJ Why Sham kept us moving and groovin’ all night long.
