  • Ava McConnell

    PUBLIC HEALTH INTERN

    Ava McConnell (she/her) is a senior Public Health student at Simmons University with a minor in Healthcare Management. Ava first learned about Mass NOW through her Public Health seminar course this past Fall. She is currently working on the State of Menstrual Access Survey with Mass NOW. She is excited to build her knowledge of menstrual equity and help advocate for individuals who experience menstrual poverty. Apart from interning with Mass NOW, she works part-time at an assisting living home in Rhode Island. She also has volunteered with the Boston/Providence VA healthcare systems.

  • Lauren Addivinola

    DEVELOPMENT & MEMBER INTERN

    Lauren Addivinola (she/her) is a senior at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she is studying Women’s Gender and Sexuality with a minor in Political Science. Lauren’s educational and personal background help her advocate for reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ and economic equality, racial justice and ending gender-based violence. As a Development Intern, Lauren will use her guest experience skills to maintain and create new relationships that will further expand MassNOW’s goal to advance the rights of women and girls in Massachusetts.

  • Lily Scheipers

    DEVELOPMENT & MEMBER INTERN

    Lily Scheipers (she/her) Hi, I’m Lily, a senior communications major with a minor in Gender Studies at UMass Boston. Currently, I’m serving as a Development and Member Engagement Intern at NOW, and I’m thrilled to gain hands-on experience in understanding the workings of this important organization. Beyond my professional and academic career, I enjoy playing the guitar and cooking vegetarian meals with my friends.

  • Kamila Abreu

    COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

    Kamila Abreu (she/her) is a senior Public Health student at Simmons University. Kamila learned about Mass Now through her senior seminar in the fall. She is working with Mass NOW as a Communications Intern. She is excited to learn more about community outreach and advocacy.

  • Bendu David

    COMMUNICATONS INTERN

    Bendu David (she/her) is a Psychology & Women’s Gender and Sexuality double major with a minor in Political Science. She learned about Mass NOW through her senior Feminist Research Seminar. She has an affinity for community and is eager to expand Mass NOW’s reach and be an instrumental part of its action as a Communications Intern. Bendu has also previously worked with the MassCultural Council.
