  • Leimary M. Llopiz

    SOUTH COAST REGIONAL ORGANIZER

    Leimary M. Llopiz is a Advocacy Coordinator at the YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts to facilitate the mobilization of public support and action, which includes providing information to our supporters about legislation, policies, social or political movements related to our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and providing information about how people can take action. Leimary has been featured in Commonwealth Magazine for her advocacy work promoting menstrual access. Leimary has been integral to the Menstrual Access Advocacy Project which has increased access to menstrual hygiene care and education by developing community partnerships, mobilizing volunteers, & raising awareness to shatter stigmas and limitations for women and girls. Leimary hopes to continue to learn as much as possible so that she can utilize her knowledge to give back to her community.

  • Ellisa Dockstader

    SOMERVILLE & CAMBRIDGE REGIONAL ORGANIZER

    Ellisa Dockstader (she/her) is a sexual and reproductive health educator working in and around the greater Boston area. She is a recent graduate of BUSPH where she received her MPH in Healthy Policy and Law with an emphasis on Human Rights and Social Justice. Before working as a health educator, she worked in hospitals for over four years as a patient care tech where she first became passionate about health equity. She is excited to hit the ground running as a Mass NOW Community Organizer where she can help move the needle on a more equitable future for all menstruators.

  • Annisha Romney

    CAPE COD REGIONAL ORGANIZER

    Annisha Romney has lived on Cape Cod for over 30 years. They began their feminist life at Wheaton College (MA) while studying Math and Women’s Studies. In recent years, Annisha has been drawn back to activism while working to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in their various workspaces. They became increasingly invested in menstrual equity while serving on the board of Mass NOW. While not working, Annisha enjoys spending time with their family, reading, and writing.

  • Hannah Anthony

    BOSTON AREA REGIONAL ORGANIZER

    Hannah Anthony (she/her) is a senior at Northeastern University studying International Affairs and Human Services. She recently completed a six-month coop at Mass NOW where she got to learn more about ending period poverty in Massachusetts. Hannah is a peer educator at Northeastern, she gives presentations to first-year students on bystander intervention and sexual violence prevention. She is excited to continue working with the Mass NOW team and to help and advocate for local communities in Boston.

  • Magdelene Barjolo

    WORCESTER REGIONAL ORGANIZER

    Magdelene Barjolo is a passionate advocate for social justice and gender equality, currently serving as the CEO and Director of Project Management at Sending Her Essentials Inc., a budding 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing period equity, combating period poverty, and empowering young girls with essential life skills on a national and global scale. Born with a commitment to making a positive impact in the world, Magdelene’s journey in social advocacy began in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she served as a community organizer. In this role, she played a pivotal role in forming the movement “Amplify Black Voices,” collaborating closely with elected officials to address issues of systemic racism and inequality within the community. With a heart for service, a background in psychology, and a dedication to research and advocacy, Magdelene Barjolo stands as a beacon of inspiration for those striving to create a more equitable and just society. Her work with Sending Her Essentials Inc. exemplifies her commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of women and girls, both nationally and globally.
